Which email accounts work?
Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook.com and Microsoft 365, mixed in one stack if you like. iCloud is coming later.
Does Thumb store my email?
No. Your mail stays in your Gmail or Microsoft account. Thumb keeps who a message is from, its subject and a short snippet, so it can show you the card, and never the body.
What it does keep is processed in Ireland, in the European Union. The privacy page has the rest.
What does Done actually do?
It archives the email in Gmail or Outlook. Nothing is ever deleted, and everything stays searchable. It is just not in your way any more.
Can it send a reply without me?
No. You always see the draft first, you can edit it, and nothing is sent without your tap.
What does it cost?
One inbox with unlimited swipes is free, and stays free. Pro is £6.99 a month or £59 a year, for up to five accounts, unlimited voice replies and full triage. During the beta, Pro is free.
When can I use it, and on what?
The beta opens in October 2026, UK first, on iPhone. Thumb is written for iPhone rather than ported to it, and there is no Android version planned for the beta.
